Columbine Health Systems' New Mercer Commons ALF is accepting applications for a Medical Assistant able to work:

· Full Time

· Flexible hours/40 hours/week

· Possible weekends

Medical Assistant Essential Functions Include:

· Injections (Insulin, vaccines, etc)

· Wound dressing changes

· COVID testing

· Order entry, medication clarifications, pharmacology knowledge

· Working with facility providers, talking with families, communicating with outside providers, referrals, etc.

· Administrative duties as assigned by providers/nurse

· Other duties as assigned

Medical Assistant Requirements:

· Must possess familiarity with electronic medical record systems, hard copy patient charts, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

· 3 years' experience minimum in a clinical setting.

· Required Medical Assistant Certification.

· Individual must be highly organized, motivated, friendly, able to multi-task and triage patient needs, prioritize, and problem solve.

Compensation:

• Starting wage $21/hour to $23/hour DOE
