Lemay Avenue Health & Rehab is located in, Fort Collins, CO and is a beautiful facility that provides services including 24-hour skilled nursing care, physical, occupational, respiratory, speech-language therapy, secure memory units, group and individual activities, and transportation to medical appointments.

We are accepting applications for a Full-Time or Part-Time Resident Assistant able to work:

• 6a-2:30p or 2p-10:30p
• Mon-Fri with alternating weekends
• Some holidays (premium holiday pay)

Resident Assistant - RA

• Provides supportive assistance to residents and to the nursing department in a manner that enhances each resident's quality of care and quality of life by performing tasks and job duties that do not require CNA or nursing licensure to perform.
• Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor.
• Answers call lights and obtain help if unable to provide assistance.
• Strips and makes unoccupied beds.
• Passes water, switches out water and encourages drinking.
• Assists with meals including taking meal orders, pass and sets up meal trays, documents % of meal consumed from try and enters into a computer database.
• Offer's activities
• Inquire about resident's needs.
• Provides simple grooming.
• Clean, maintain and monitor some medical equipment in resident's rooms.
• Empties trash and soiled linen.
• And other duties as assigned.

Resident Assistant Requirements

• Preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Required minimum of 17+ years of age.

After at least 90 days of employment, an opportunity for a full scholarship to attend our CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE TRAINING PROGRAM through Columbine Health Systems Geriatric Education Centre.

Starting wage $12.75 and 3 opportunities for raises your first year.
